1978 Moog “Keyboard Gods” Catalog Cover

1978 Moog “Keyboard Gods” Catalog Cover

Description

From the vault comes a striking piece of synthesizer history featuring seven influential keyboardists. This print featuring the 1978 Moog catalog cover pairs the bold red Moog logo with illustrated portraits of Jan Hammer, Tony Banks, Patrick Moraz, Jon Lord, Klaus Schulze, Keith Emerson, and Rick Wakeman.

Identified by the Bob Moog Foundation as the “Keyboard Gods” catalog, the publication placed celebrated musicians at the forefront of its presentation. Its accompanying text emphasized collaboration with working players and the importance of sound, feel, and playability in synthesizer design.

The finely drawn portraits, contrasting red lettering, and Norlin logo at the lower right give the cover a distinctive period character. Offered as a framed cover rather than a complete catalog, it makes an appealing display piece for fans of progressive rock, electronic music, and vintage synthesizer design.
