We are delighted to offer the "77 Million Paintings by Brian Eno" commemorative poster from his art installation at Moogfest 2011.
This is a beautiful, 18"x 24" colorful print on 100lb poster art stock paper. Ready for framing, you won't find these posters available anywhere else!
The 77 Million Paintings art installment created by Roxy Music frontman Brian Eno incorporates video and sound to construct
“a constantly evolving sound and image scape” that “encourages the viewer to slow down and enter a contemplative state, reflecting on the uniqueness of a passing moment that has almost certainly never existed before.”
This exhibition marked the first installation of 77 Million Paintings in the United States, outside of San Francisco and Los Angeles. Quite a rare installment, it was selectively shown, and has been been housed at well regarded locales such as the Venice Biennale, the Milan Triennale, and the Sydney Opera House.
Moogfest 2011 took place on October 28-30th in Asheville, NC. Along with Eno, the year’s lineup included performances by The Flaming Lips, Moby, Passion Pit, Tangerine Dream, Suicide, Amon Tobin, M83, Chromeo, Battles, and more.
