“Land of Modular Magic” Framed Kyle Platts Poster

“Land of Modular Magic” Framed Kyle Platts Poster

Description

From the vault comes a colorful journey into the world of modular synthesis. British illustrator and animator Kyle Platts depicts an anthropomorphic Moog carrying bundles of patch cables through a vivid, psychedelic landscape—a playful meeting of electronic music and cartoon imagination.

The design is associated with Moog’s Island of Electronicus installation at the 2016 Winter NAMM Show, which paid tribute to David Van Koevering’s original 1971 showroom experience in Tierra Verde, Florida. Through immersive performances and opportunities to play the instruments, Van Koevering introduced audiences to the possibilities of the new Minimoog. Platts’ Mother-32-inspired illustrations helped bring that spirit of discovery to Moog’s 2016 presentation.

With its bright colors, surreal character, and connection to Moog history, this poster makes a distinctive addition to a music studio, listening room, or synthesizer enthusiast’s collection. The image incorporates the artist’s “Kyle Platts” signature and the Moog logo below. Presented under glass in a black frame, the poster was professionally framed by BlackBird Frame & Art in Asheville, North Carolina.
