Patrick Moraz Autographed Photograph with Bob Moog

Description

From the vault comes a portrait of Bob Moog and legendary keyboardist Patrick Moraz during their collaboration in 1975. Photographed outdoors in Williamsville, New York near the Moog Music factory, the two stand in tall grass, with Moraz holding a Micromoog synthesizer, a memorable glimpse of the inventor and musician beyond the studio.

Moraz, known for his work with Refugee, Yes, and the Moody Blues, visited as a musician consultant during early testing of the Polymoog and Micromoog. Their collaboration also extended to Geneva, Switzerland, where Bob helped Moraz program and refine Polymoog sounds during recording sessions for his first solo album, I, also known as The Story of I.

Autographed by Patrick Moraz, this color photograph offers a personal connection to the exchange of musical ideas and technical expertise that helped shape these instruments and their use in recorded music.
