A synthesizer artist, programmer, and longtime member of Todd Rundgren’s progressive rock band Utopia, Powell worked with Bob to develop a custom keyboard controller for two Moog System 55 synthesizers. Their collaboration gave Powell independent keyboard control and expressive performance features to harness the system’s considerable possibilities.
